It’s summer in the city, loves, and now it’s time to enjoy it. Here are some of my ideas on how to pass the time, whether you’re a tourist or a local.
- Go on a Duck Boat Tour
- Go to the North End and stand in line at Modern Pastry
- Spend an afternoon in the MFA(there’s currently an amazing Botticelli exhibit)
- Explore Faneuil Hall
- Take a brewery tour of the city
- Go shopping on Newbury Street(and take a pit stop in Max Brenner)
- Sit out on the Waterfront(peak time, in my opinion, is from 5:00-8:00)
- Explore Quincy Market
- Get Tickets in advance for the New England Aquarium
- Spend an hour(or two, or three) at Boston Public Market
- Catch a Sox Game
- Spend a day in the Museum of Science
- Have kids? Take them to the Boston’s Children’s Museum
- Go to the North End on a Saturday, and enjoy a festival-even if you don’t know what Saint it’s for
- Explore. Get lost, and find yourself walking the Freedom Trail. Take a day and don’t make a plan and find where the day takes you.
